โรคหัด (Measles)
เกิดจากการรับเชื้อไวรัสผ่านทางอากาศ ละอองน้ำลาย น้ำลาย และน้ำมูกของผู้ป่วยเป็นหนึ่งในโรคติดต่อมากที่สุด โรคหัดถือเป็นโรคติดต่อจากคนสู่คน ส่วนใหญ่มักเกิดในเด็กเล็ก ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่เป็นเด็กอายุต่ำกว่า 5 ปี

โรคหัดป้องกันได้หากเด็กได้รับวัคซีน (Measles Vaccine)
โรคหัดป้องกันได้หากเด็กได้รับวัคซีนป้องกันโรคหัด (Measles Vaccine) ครบตามกำหนดโดยทารก สามารถรับวัคซีนได้ครั้งแรกเมื่ออายุครบ 9-12 เดือน และครั้งต่อไปอายุ 4-6 ปีส่วนเด็กวัยรุ่นและผู้ใหญ่ที่ไม่มีภูมิคุ้มกัน สามารถรับวัคซีนได้ 2 เข็ม โดยเว้นช่วงการรับวัคซีนแต่ละรอบให้ห่างกันอย่างน้อย 28 วัน มีประสิทธิภาพประมาณ 85%
